Caelan Doris ruled out until 2027 in blow to Leinster and Ireland

Leinster and Ireland captain Caelan Doris, will not feature for either Leinster or Ireland for the remainder of the calendar year.
The Irish Times announced the news this afternoon, in what will be a blow for both club and country.
Only a little over five minutes had elapsed in the URC final at Croke Park in June, when he was forced to leave the field of play with a foot injury. This required surgery and whilst a return in November seemed possible, it is now reported that a procedure was also carried out on his knee that was subsequently infected.
Leo Cullen was not definitive previously - when confirming Doris would be Leinster captain for the season - when he would return.
