Less than a year ago, she could scarcely imagine herself playing in the Aviva Stadium. Now Robyn O’Connor is in the midst of a WXV campaign after a dream Six Nations debut that included two tries and a place in Ireland's exciting new generation.

A long-time fan of the game, describing former Irish player Katie FitzHenry as her idol growing up, Robyn described how unexpected her international call up was earlier this year.

“When the news was first announced that we'd have a game in the Aviva, I was like, Wow, that'll be amazing for whoever gets that opportunity and I didn't really put myself on the pitch”.
