"Welcome to the Gunne show." It couldn't be avoided, puns aplenty did the rounds after Leinster's bonus point defeat to the Lions on Saturday. Fintan Gunne's fine first-half hat-trick had those with a penchant for wordplay, out in force.
Planet Rugby dropped in "Gunne shots fired", into their headline on their round up with their assortment of takeaways, including Gunne's speed of pass. Andrew Porter's return from injury was also lauded, and it was noted in the article that it was the first time since May 2021 that Porter had switched to tight-head from the loose for Leinster - that was in May 2021.
